The day started off cloudy, but it turned into a warm, bright, and sunny day- awesome pics! The bride, the groom, and the wedding party were all a lot of fun and they were up for anything. Gibraltar Band at the Atlas

MetroPhotos Teams With Coyaba

MetroPhotos has teamed up with Coyaba Dance Theatre, a DC based non-profit that specializes in teaching persons of all ages African dance. It is amazing to see the kids learn intricate steps. You gotta see the rhythm that these young kids step with!!!! The drumming will have you moving once you hear it.

MetroPhotos will be providing Coyaba with photography services for the dance events on the schedule. On February 21, 2011 MetroPhotos held a photography session with the staff of Coyaba. Bundle of Joy

Shonzia and Connie are expecting their first child. They choose MetroPhotos to capture maternity picks. Most certainly it was a fun time and great shooting. The new family addition will be named Taylor. While shooting she did a lot of kicking. I guess the light excited her. Can’t wait to meet her. Thanks Shonzia and Connie for letting us share a moment with your family.

I Do-Gospel Concert

I Do Conference

That’s right, MetroPhotos at this very moment is covering photographs for the Ebenezer AME conference – “I Do”. The conference was held over three days to show the marriage between music ministry and the pulpit. The conferences end today with a wonderful concert with today’s gospel artist. Who do you ask? Good question. Performing will be James Fortune, Byron Cage, VaShawn Mitchell, Veda Whisnant, Ricky Dillard, Tye Tribbett, and Clifton Ross. The shots we did today during the workshops - words can’t describe what we captured. Check us out later-the shots will have from the concert.

Second Time Around

Well lets see where do we start? The Gay family hired MetroPhotos (in October) to shoot some family pictures while Amy was pregnant. Now the new addition to the family is here (five weeks old) and has joined his two brothers. WOW time flies. It’s January and MetroPhotos has come back for a second round to shoot some more photos with an emphasis on the new-born. The Gay family is awesome to work with and I loved the questions I get from their two and three-year olds. Oh yeah, I also got to see the bubble barbecue. If you know them ask to see it. It Official 4-10-11!!!

Carlyn and Steve and have chosen MetroPhotos to capture photographs of their wedding. When 4-10-11. They have secured a beautiful site and we can’t wait to shoot their wedding. Guess what? Their wedding date is the same as Tony’s (co-owner of Metro) birthday. Oh we gone have fun. Carlyn and Steve are a couple with lots of spunk and they love to have fun.
